The Clubhouse at The Wyndgate is a 60,000 square foot Federalist style edifice with stately appointments throughout. Appearing to be three separate buildings from the front, in actuality, everything is connected on the lower level. The lower level houses meeting rooms, private dining rooms, offices, and locker rooms.
The Cupola, the hallmark of The Wyndgate, crowns the grand reception area on the upper level of The Clubhouse. On either side of the over-sized fireplace are the doors leading to the balcony, a favorite place for dining or receptions during the warm days and evenings. Flowing from there are the three dining rooms and a lounge. The Patriot, the largest of the dining rooms, hosts the largest of the club functions. The Washington and The Jefferson are more intimate rooms, accommodating smaller numbers. The Adams room is used both as a lounge and reception area.
The beautiful formal garden areas on opposite sides of the center portion of the clubhouse lead to either The Jarrah Room or the Pro Shop. The Jarrah Room takes its name from the heavy Australian wood from which the room is created. Massive arches and intricate moldings, coupled with superior craftsmanship make this a luxuriant, yet comfortable room for the gentlemen. The Pro Shop is well stocked with a wide selection of hard goods, clothing and gift items.
Located at the second 18 holes, WestWynd, the Gatehouse is a quaint, colonial-style building, which includes a Pro Shop that carries the essentials for golf. The WestWynd Grille, perfect for casual dining, opens out to additional dining on the patio overlooking the course. With the gas grill just off to the side, this is a great spot for a favorite barbecue item, while keeping an eye on the 18th green. This dining facility is also open to the general public.
A stroll from the patio along the path leads to the hydrangea-accented pergola separating the WestWynd course from the swimming pool complex. The combination of the competitive-size pool and the arc-shaped transitional pool provides the capability of multiple, concurrent programming. Decorated in a Great Lakes theme, the pool house locker room also features a family changing room complete with lockers and showers. The locker rooms inside the Pool House are complemented by a Family Changing Room, which also features lockers and a shower.
