Golf

Golf is the heart of The Wyndgate and it is our purpose to allow the member to give the game his/her full attention while our staff attends to the details. We begin with handling the bags, both from valet and bag storage, (where clubs are always cleaned before storage), on to the locker room where service given by our friendly and helpful attendants includes such things as shoe cleaning, refreshing beverages, and grooming products. Moving on to the range, pyramids of balls stand ready for the member's warm-up. Our outside service staff will also attend to reserving a spot in the dining room following the game.

Dining

Choices for dining at The Wyndgate include both formal and informal dining rooms, which feature diverse and stimulating menus that are changed seasonally. The newly completed Hamilton Grill Room is complete with a cozy fireplace, beautiful patio and an outdoor barbecue grill. The Terrace is in a location that makes access possible from numerous holes on the Eastwynd course. Palate-pleasing menu selections, along with beverages of all kinds, are served promptly and with a smile. The Gatehouse Grille is the perfect casual spot for family dining, a quick lunch, or a relaxed dinner. The expanded dining area is also perfect for business meetings, private parties, such as: showers, rehearsal dinners, graduations, and small banquets. The patio, seating as many as 88, is a favorite during the season, as it overlooks some beautiful vistas of the Westwynd Course

Fitness

Both the Men's and the Ladies' Locker Rooms at the Clubhouse feature fitness rooms with personal training available. State-of-the-art equipment is available for cardiovascular, circuit training, and free weight workouts.

Youth

With our focus on family we offer many exciting programs for our youth. Each summer the Golf Department offers Junior Golf to the children of The Wyndgate giving them a chance to learn the game and play the course, culminating in the year-end Junior Club Championship. With three golf professionals, instruction is never far away. Summer Camp is a wonderful time for children to explore many other aspects of The Wyndgate, each year a new theme is put into place highlighting various art forms, science, nature, and athletics. And sprinkled throughout the year are events planned specifically for the youth.

Swim & Tennis

Our family programming would not be complete without our competitive swimming pool, transition pool, and toddler pool. Members are able to schedule either Private or Semi-Private swim lessons, participation in Competitive Stroke Clinics and Aqua Aerobic classes. There are special days of pool fun for all ages, such as the 4th of July party for the children, and a Luau by the Pool for the adults. Private pool parties are also an option for the membership. The competitive swim team eagerly anticipates continual growth.

In addition to the pool The Wyndgate at the Westwynd features four tennis courts for our membership. Professional

instruction is available and leagues will be formed in the future. For the convenience of our members playing tennis or enjoying the pool, food and beverages are available at the Pool Concession Stand.

The Gatehouse Grille, perfect for casual dining, opens out to additional dining on the terrace overlooking the course. A stroll from the terrace on the path and through the hydrangea-accented Pergola leads to the beautifully landscaped tennis courts, but first comes the swimming pool complex.

With a Great Lakes theme, the locker rooms inside the Pool House are complemented by the Family Changing Room which also includes lockers and a shower.

The combination of the competitive size pool and the arc-shaped transitional pool provides the capability of multiple, concurrent programming. For the safety of our youngest members and the peace of mind of their parents, the kiddie pool is completely enclosed, while not being isolated.
